Candid Moments

My boyfriend and I were messing around in our yard today, reflecting on how lucky we are to have such beautiful weather today, unlike our fam on the east coast. As this pic was taken, Hurricane Irene made her debut on the east coast. As a Virginia native, I know the devastation that a hurricane can cause. I wish I had super powers, cause I would teleport all my fam here, and send them back afterwards :( But anyways, I have everybody in my thoughts and prayers, and hopefully this ray sunshine will make all the difference.

Nite Out on the Town

  I went to see a comedy show in downtown Phoenix the other night with my boo, Bruce Bruce was in town at the new StandUp Live. If you live in the area, check this joint out, if the opportunity arises. I had a ball!!  I laughed, I ate and I had a few drinks. It was much needed, I tell ya. Laughter is good for the soul, and so is a cute outfit!! Man, I was feeling sooo fly in this getup. It was sexy with a hint of sophistication. Yes, you can be both...lol.
